Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative Areas (research in a proposed research area) "RELATIONAL STUDIES ON GLOBAL CRISES "

Second Junior Researchers Meeting
(Call for Papers)

The Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative Areas (research in a proposed research area) entitled "RELATIONAL STUDIES ON GLOBAL CRISES" has been striving to establish (since 2016) the new research area (Relational Studies on Global Crises) through putting together top-notch scholars in the field of social sciences and humanities affiliated with academic institutions including Chiba University, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and Ritsumeikan University. The research project facilitates participation of junior researchers who share the research project's agenda setting with similar research focuses. As part of such efforts, we annually hold a "Junior Researchers Meeting" in which young researchers from outside the above research project are invited to share their views as academic presentations. Following the first Meeting which was held last year at Waseda University, we will be holding the second Junior Researchers Meeting this year (2018) at Kyoto University, as follows. We seek young and promising researchers' applications from a wide variety of academic disciplines ranging from social sciences and humanities to natural sciences.
